Sharin F. Ali

Sharin F. Ali is a biracial poet and multimedia artist living with major depressive disorder, PTSD, anxiety, poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and chronic fatigue. Born to an Indo-Fijian father and European-Canadian mother, her unique upbringing heavily influences her work. She uses her art to convey what it's like living with multiple invisible illnesses as they are often dismissed and ignored. She hopes her art changes the way people see one another and allows people to be more understanding and empathic.
